My glass Cape Breton and Me

Blue Heron

2009-products-079

I am not sure why they call it a blue heron because it is grey but what do I know.A new product for our business will be glass painting. We are using an acrylic enamel currently being developed to paint original minature works of art on glass. We then fire to remove binders and are left with an actual glass painting as enamels are emulisons of glass. So once binders are burnt off glass is left, not paint.

They will be carried in several shops on Cape Breton Island as well as a shop in Mahone Bay in Nova Scotia.

They will be made into pendants as well as earrings will be made.
